It may need an adjustment but in some cases a rebuild is needed.

They are more efficient over time but come at a more upfront cost.

If your hot water doesn't last long, if your water heater is 8 years old or older, or leaking, a replacement is highly recommended.

Shutoff water supply to toilet and do not use until serviced.
